We often find ourselves shopping on Harmony Road, on the East side of Fort Collins and looking for a place to grab a drink. Luckily Rustic Oven is now located far (enough) from the crowded old town area. While it’s not exactly a t-shirt and jeans kind of place, it’s still classy without overreaching and perfect for a casual date or a more family oriented outing.
Atmosphere:  We headed over and fought for a parking spot in the narrow parking lot behind the center where it is located. Out front is a nice fire pit blazing and a patio that faces out towards Harmony Road. When walking in, we noticed the high ceilings, warm accent lighting and open spaces creating an inviting “rustic” feel. The dining area is filled with tables and very private booths that are separated by rounded wood dividers. We headed towards the bar which offers large windows that also face Harmony Road and plenty of high top tables to sit at. The bar is modern with enough TV’s for all to enjoy and plenty of bar top seating. The crowd ranged from families to groups of all ages out for a bite to eat and a beer.

Service:
Service at the bar was great. Our glasses were never empty and the bartenders were knowledgeable on the beer selection. In the dining area there seemed to be more than enough servers hustling and taking care of their tables.
Drinks:  The bar is fully stocked with a nice selection of premium liquors and a well-rounded selection of craft, import, and domestic beers. The drink menu has some flavorful- original concoctions, as well as some twists on old classics. The real treat here is their wine list; it was obviously carefully thought out and has some great wines that won’t cost you too much.
Food:  The menu features all of your American favorites with a touch of class. The appetizers are large enough to share and offer items like salmon tacos, meat and cheese platter and grilled bruchetta. The remainder of the menu has salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, pizza and several pasta dishes. There is a combo section which is nice if you want to try a combination of pizza, salad or sandwiches. Our favorites are Mediterranean stuffed chicken and baked tenderloin diavolo.
Amenities: Patio with heat, HD TV’s, private dining section, fire pit, reservations, catering.
Parking:  There is a parking lot located in the shopping center where Rustic Oven is located but it gets crowded.
The Buzz:  Happy hour daily from 3-6pm featuring 1/2 price pizzas and $3 draft beers, $3 well drinks and $4 house wines, Tuesday nights 1/2 price bottle of wine, kids eat free every Sunday from 11am to 4pm,wine tasting classes.

  1. Isn't the manager of Rusitc Oven one of hte writers for this blog, and the other writer his wife?! How can you ethically write something like this? The credibility of this blog was just decimated by this post.

  2. Bar Comber is written by Rustic Oven employees, so this review cannot be impartial or trusted. And all the other reviews on this site are also thrown into question, too.
