Anyone looking to enjoy live blues rock music in Northern Colorado should check out the rock cover band Atomic Pile Drivers. We headed over to The Hideout Patio Bar and Grill for “Bike Night” on a Wednesday and caught them, where they seem to be a staple.
This group specializes in playing a variety of hits from the late 60s to the early 90s and has played together for over 20 years. Their style was easy going, as they played a little bit of everything from classic rock to blues. They rocked songs by musicians ranging from Mountain, Tom Petty, Black Crowes and Creedance Clearwater while the crowd sang along.
Atomic Pile Drivers were perfect for this evening, laid back, yet still full of energy. Overall these guys have a cool and reflective style. The crowd sang along while others danced in appreciation of the mood the music. Atomic Pile Drivers have enough rock roots to make classic rock and blues a common ground for all.
